With a deep passion for artforms in textiles and threads, I created Nooloviyan—a Tamil name meaning ‘thread artist.’ We aim to introduce a unique style in the world of textile art. Nooloviyan debuted at the Mumbai Art Fair in May 2024 and the Indian Art Festival in Bangalore in December 2024, receiving overwhelming appreciation and support.

I believe threads can redefine contemporary art. Balancing entrepreneurship and artistry enriches my creativity. My abstract pieces often explore the conflict between logic and creativity, pushing boundaries to create premium art for commercial spaces.

As a passionate photographer, my photos inspire many of my art series, turning memories into thread art. Notable works include ‘Kambala,’ ‘Sacred Dance,’ and ‘Silent Forests,’ capturing moments from around the world. My rich experience with textiles and fabrics helps me bring fresh ideas to the art market.

I draw inspiration from experimental art forms like ‘Brandscape’ and ‘Dual Canvas,’ blending graffiti-inspired styles with thread art. These approaches let me explore textures and layers, offering visually dynamic alternatives to traditional mediums.

Nooloviyan’s ‘Spectrum Series’ features art made using 90% discarded threads, promoting sustainability while delivering high-quality, visually striking pieces. This initiative supports environmental responsibility and aims to make thread art more accessible globally.
